Pune, August 14, 2025: The Ritz Carlton, Pune is set to welcome Akina, a contemporary Asian dining spot, for an exclusive three day pop-up at Ukiyo, the hotel’s modern Japanese restaurant. Taking place from 21st to 23rd August 2025, from 7 PM onwards, this collaboration will bring Akina’s signature flavours and dishes to Pune for the very first time.
Ukiyo, a high-energy and modern Japanese dining destination at The Ritz-Carlton, Pune, offers a refined yet vibrant culinary experience. Showcasing contemporary interpretations of classic Japanese recipes, Ukiyo’s menu spans sushi, sashimi, and robata grill specials, each crafted with bold flavours, premium ingredients, and global influences. With its elegant interiors, al fresco deck, and a bar featuring inventive cocktails, Ukiyo has become a sought-after venue for both intimate gatherings and social celebrations.
Helmed by Aspect Hospitality, Akina is known for its focus on fresh ingredients and a menu that spans sushi rolls, cold plates, appetisers, robata grills and hearty mains paired with their signature cocktails. The pop-up menu at Ukiyo will showcase a selection of Akina’s popular creations, beginning with cold plates such as Mango and Tofu Ceviche, Crispy Quinoa, Ají Panca Chili and Tuna Nikkei, Truffle Yuzu Pink Peppercorn. Sushi lovers can look forward to options like 500 Degree Scallops, Furai Prawns, Huancaina Sauce.
Appetisers include Crispy Ebi, Mango Chalaquita, Avocado Purée and Tofu Katsu, Salsa de Yogur Con Ajo y Pepino, while from the robata grill, guests can savour Robata Anticucho Baby Chicken, Tokyo Fries or Broccoli Anticucho, Aji Panka, Huancaina Sauce. The mains will feature comforting favourites such as Cremoso de Quinoa and Peruvian Udon, rounding off the experience.
