New Delhi, September 21, 2019: In order to position Thailand as one of the most coveted destinations to experience the best of luxury, Tourism Authority of Thailand, Mumbai organized a FAM trip with select agents from South-West regions of India to Bangkok and Chiang Mai from the 26th-31st of August, 2019.
TAT, Mumbai charted a tour so as to exhibit the different unexplored experiences that Thailand has in store for the luxury seeking traveler. Alongside showcasing the marquee properties in Chiang Mai and its exclusive services, the itinerary had an array of activities such as exquisite spas, cooking classes, elephant farming/training, muay thai kick boxing, hot air ballooning, golf workshop sessions etc; which together redefine the meaning of leisure and luxury. Further, select restaurants were shortlisted to provide a glimpse of the healthy yet mouthwatering vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian food options that Thailand boasts of. A site inspection was facilitated for the agents to further learn about the emerging Thailand destinations along with the world-class services catered by the luxury hotel brands.
The tour was concluded with a detailed presentation by TAT at the ‘Amazing Thailand Luxury B2B session 2019’ held in Bangkok, to highlight India’s growing luxury segment and also on how Thailand is an ideal destination to be on the wish list of this increasing bourgeoisie population.
