New December 20, 2024: The Tourism and Hospitality Skill Council (THSC), under the Ministry of Tourism’s Hunar Se Rozgar Tak (HSRT) program, has successfully conducted online placement drives across six districts in Manipur. These initiatives have created valuable career opportunities for youth
aspiring to excel in the hospitality and service sectors.
 
Over 160 students secured employment with leading organisations such as PVR Inox, Barbeque Nation, Quess Corporation, and Compass Group. These placement drives, executed in partnership with Primero Skills, THSC’s skill training partner, ensured that students were equipped with relevant skills and matched to roles aligned with their career goals.

This accomplishment is particularly significant for participants from relief camps who overcame personal adversities and challenging circumstances. Their unwavering determination and resilience have made their achievements all the more inspiring, demonstrating the transformative impact of skill development programs in fostering self-reliance and sustainable livelihoods.
