The Two-day workshop brought together over 50 chefs from Marriott properties across India.
New Delhi, June 28, 2018: The Westin Gurgaon, New Delhi brought together over 50 chefs and F&B teams across Marriott properties in the country for the 4th edition of annual Marriott India Chefs Workshop from June 25th to 26th, 2018.
The platform aims to encourage knowledge sharing and drawing inspiration from each other through discussions on best practices, innovation and trends in F&B industry. Marriott India Chefs Workshop echoes Group’s food and beverage philosophy of ‘Less is more’, underlining principles of simplicity, authenticity, sustainability and quality.

The event culminated with all chefs preparing an extensive breakfast buffet with over 200 dishes ranging from local and international cuisines at The Seasonal Tastes, the property’s all-day-dining restaurant. The buffet spread included traditional Indian breakfast dishes, pan-Asian and Continental preparations with dedicated stations for waffles, pancakes, crepes, gelato, detoxifying juices etc.
Chef Toine Hoeksel, Culinary Director Asia Pacific –Marriott International;Chef Raheel Ahmed, Culinary Director (APEC) – Marriott International along with hotel’s Chef Deepak Bhatia, Complex Executive Chef and Chef Karan Thakur, Executive Sous Chef were also present at the event.
