Mr. Ali’s career began with the Thapar Group in 1980, he worked his way through Eicher International Ltd., Ashok Leyland Ltd., and finally, as President External Affairs to the global conglomerate – Punj Lloyd Group reporting directly to the chairman, Mr. Atul Punj. An asset to The Claridges Group, Mr. Ali will leverage and enhance the ongoing and future work of the company.
A stalwart of the industry, Mr. Ali has experience in strategic government relations, public affairs, business development, exports, international collaborations and green field projects. He has also successfully set up several export based manufacturing facilities for large Indian corporate houses. Instrumental in the development of industrial, residential and commercial projects over the length and breadth of India, he comes well versed in the current landscape of India’s infrastructure sector. His air of calm decisiveness and immaculate record make him the perfect fit for leading the Group inits future projects.
