Serene, warm and full of the classic elegance we’ve come to expect from Countess Bergit Douglas and the architecture firm MM-design, the three new Presidential Suites at Le Bristol Paris are the latest development from a hotel that loves to redefine luxury
New Delhi, July 27, 2021: Perfectly embodying the spirit of the Palace, these three expansive hideaways in the heart of Paris join the exclusive list of Le Bristol’s Signature Suites. They are the most beautiful and legendary of them all — the ones that have been immortalized in movie scenes and where countless artists have resided during their Parisian engagements. Here, the delicate interiors of Pierre Frey, Colefax and Jane Churchill dress each room, infusing the spaces with a sense of sophistication and tranquility. Designed as private pieds-à-terre, the three apartments are bathed in natural light and decorated with Louis XVI furniture and original works of art in refined touches. The charm is palpable.
The subtle woodwork is painted in shades of cream, sky blue or celadon green and an eighteenth-century painting commands attention above a soft-toned sofa covered with Parma silk cushions. Next to a floor-to-ceiling window dressed in Manuel Canovas curtains, a Louis XV desk makes you want to write about Paris. That is, unless you succumb to the bedroom’s soothing calm and inviting king-sized bed. The Loro Piana cashmere throws are as soft as a dream.
Each suite is decorated with its own unique character, but they all present 120–250 square metres of absolute comfort, offering from one to three bedrooms and impressive corner views over one of Paris’ most exclusive fashion streets.
But of course, since we are at the Bristol, we don’t want to miss the chance to practice a little French art of living. So, we agree to leave our suite and enjoy a cocktail in the wonderful new courtyard garden planted with orange trees and roses. To dive into the swimming pool overlooking the Parisian rooftops. Or to taste a ceviche made with marinated royal sea bream by triple Michelin starred Chef Eric Frechon on the garden terrace as the sun sets.
Presidential Suites at Le Bristol Paris, from 120m2 to 250m2, up to 3 adjoining rooms, from 5,800 euros per night.
