New Delhi, July 07, 2016: ​​ASSOCIATION OF HOSPITALITY PROFESSIONALS (AHP) organized the 3rd edition of AHP Hospitality Challenge 2016 for young hospitality professionals from prominent hotels across Delhi & NCR to showcase their hospitality skills. The 2nd & 3rd day of AHP Hospitality Challenge saw three unique competitions, F & B competitions – ’War of Spirits’ & ‘Art of Napkin Folding’ at Hotel THE PARK, NEW DELHI and Front Office Master Competition – at INDIAN HOTEL ACADEMY, New Delhi.

War of Spirits’ & ‘Art of Napkin Folding’, in which over 40 qualified Professionals from 15 eminent hotels came under one roof to demonstrate their skills, knowledge and innovation. The participants of ‘War of Spirits’ prepared some exotic and tantalizing cocktails & mocktails in rich flavors and enthralled everyone by presenting the drinks so artistically. On the other hand, the participants of ‘Art of Napkin Folding’ put up a spectacular show by folding napkins fantastically which looked eccentric and magnificent.

The participants of War of Spirits and Napkin Folding competition were judged by the seasoned Jury member from Food & Beverage sector like; Mr. Saumitra Chaturvedi, F & B Director, IBIS; Mr. Sahil Sharma, Associate Director F & B, The Park Hotel; Mr. Indrashis Sinha, Director F & B, Crown Plaza Today Gurgaon; Mr. Umesh Dalal, Director F & B, Eros Hotel and Mr. Rohan Kichlu, Director of Operations & Business, The Clock Tower.

Over 25 Professionals from 10 hotels participated in Front Office Master Competition where they came together at this platform for the rapid fire Quiz and how brilliantly one can handle the situation as front office representative. To see the increasing competition in service industry, the rising demand of the customer care and the enhance service quality are the fundamental factors to customer’s satisfaction, which was the theme of this competition.

The participants of the Front Office Master Competition were judged by the Jury member from AHP like ; Mr. Rajinder Kumar (President AHP) , Mr. Vinod Gulati (Vice President AHP); Ms. Sherry Suda, Executive Housekeeper , PARK PLAZA ‘Gurgaon ; Ms. Vaneeta Arora , Executive Housekeeper , THE PARK’ CP ;Ms. Reena V. Tiwari, Head Housekeeping , Artemis Hospital ; Ms. Harinder Kishore, Executive Housekeeper, The Leela Ambience, Gurgaon ;Mr.Rahul Vasudeva , F&B Director, Armstrong ; Mr. Indrashis Sinha , F&B Director, CROWNE PLAZA ‘Gurgaon ; Mr. Ajay Tandon , Baithak Kalagram Complex ; Ms. Monica Mishra , F&B Director, CITRUS HOTEL GURGAON.

This platform was designed to felicitate the young team at work who put in their best foot forward day in and out for pleasing the guests at their hotels. The award ceremony to announce the winners of the competition shall be held on July 8, 2016 at AIR FORCE AUDITORIUM, SUBROTO PARK, New Delhi.
