Aniruddha, who has been a part of Courtyard by Marriott Ahmedabad for over three years and six years overall with Marriott believes guests and associates are Top Priority and go out of his way to proactively assist them.
Over the course of the four years that he has been at Courtyard Marriott Ahmedabad, there has not been a single day wherein Aniruddha has not made at least one guest’s stay more memorable. He makes it a point to meet and greet guests, and to strike a conversation at every table. This allows him to learn more about guests and their preferences, so as to curate personal experiences for each of them.
Stories of how Aniruddha went out of his way to keep the guests happy are aplenty in Courtyard by Marriott Ahmedabad. In one such incident, he secured Singapore rice noodles from a counterpart in a competing hotel late in the night after realizing that their own dry store had run out of it, and he had promised to prepare the dish for guests slated to leave early next morning.

Aniruddha, awarded “Asia Pacific Chef of the Year” in 2016, has raised the bar of service and hospitality at Courtyard Marriott Ahmedabad by training his teams to consistently deliver the same enthusiasm that he carries with him on a day-to-day basis. This has also helped Courtyard Marriott Ahmedabad, which hosts guests from across the globe, embrace change in its operations.
He was also a crucial member of Courtyard by Marriott Hinjewadi in Pune, when it was awarded “Hotel of the Year” in 2015.
Aniruddha is passionate about driving and watching cricket, and like millions of other fans, his favourite cricketer is Sachin Tendulkar. He credits his wife of 19 years as his greatest support.
