An assortment of fruits and nuts are accumulated during this time and used to bake the scrumptious and traditional plum cake. All ingredients like spirits, dry fruits, cherries, dates, spices are thoroughly mixed and infused in spirits such as brandy, rum and wine to mature prior to the actual baking. The evening witnessed the connoisseurs of the city donning the apron, cap and gloves, coming together to tackle the colorful mounds of dry fruits, nuts and other concoctions to herald in the lively joyous Christmas season.
