New Delhi, October 19, 2023 :  Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts, the global luxury hospitality company and member of Dubai Holding continues to build a strong customer base in India, announcing a 24% increase in room nights booked in 2023 YTD compared to the same period in 2022.

A key strategic partner to the UAE, India is a top source market for Jumeirah Hotels and Resorts, with particularly strong visitor numbers in Dubai, London, and Asia Pacific.

The growth in guest arrivals for the luxury operator follows a period of global expansion for the brand, including the opening of several new properties over the past 18 months, including Jumeirah Muscat Bay, Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain Resort & Spa, Jumeirah Bali and most recently, Jumeirah Makkah. In addition, several of the group’s UAE-based properties have recently been enhanced, with refurbishments at Jumeirah Mina A’Salam and the ultra-exclusive Malakiya Villas at Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf, as well as new beachscapes at Jumeirah Beach Hotel and Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort.

With an international portfolio of prestigious properties in sought after locations across the globe, Jumeirah revealed key updates on its ongoing investment in guest experience, as well as key new hotels and resorts planned in key markets for Indian audiences. This includes the recent opening of its first property in Saudi Arabia, Jumeirah Makkah, located a short walk from the Great Mosque of Makkah, and the highly anticipated Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab in Dubai, set to introduce a new expression of ultra-luxury hospitality for the brand. Featuring an avant-garde design by architect Shaun Killa, Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab will feature a hotel with 387 rooms and suites, 82 luxury residences, an 82-berth superyacht marina by D-marin, and a range of curated dining experiences. The Group is also set to open its second resort in Saudi Arabia, Jumeirah The Red Sea, in 2024. Set within the Kingdom’s most ambitious regenerative tourism project on its west coast, the resort comprises 180 keys and has been designed with relaxation and self-discovery in mind.

In addition to hotels and resorts, Jumeirah outlined its commitment to expanding its portfolio of branded residences and unique living concepts with the announcement of Jumeirah Living Business Bay, scheduled to open in 2024. Featuring a selection of two-, three-, and four-bedroom residences and five-bedroom simplex and duplex penthouses as well as one full-floor master penthouse, the building offers the ultimate in immersive luxury living with stunning views of the Dubai Canal and Burj Khalifa.
