Macao, March 02, 2016: DestinAsian, leading travel and lifestyle magazine, announced the winners of its 2016 Readers’ Choice Awards in Bangkok recently. The Venetian Macao was ranked first in the “Best Hotels in Macau” category, followed by Sheraton Grand Macao Hotel, Cotai Central (3rd), Four Seasons Hotel Macao (4th) and Conrad Macao, Cotai Central (5th). The results reflect the best of the luxury travel industry and the appreciation readers share for hospitality they can depend on.

Reader polls of Readers’ Choice Awards are particularly interesting and for a property to win one is a testament to the customer-centered experience that a hotel offers. Conducted between August and October 2015, the voting process involves asking travellers from around the world to choose a winner in each of 35 different categories including hotels and resorts, serviced residences, spas, airlines, airports, and destinations. This year saw the addition of the Index listing the top five winners in each category to applaud the runners-up.
