New Delhi, August 12, 2017: Tourism & Hospitality Skill Council (THSC) along with Association of Hospitality Professional (AHP) and Prospurs Pte. Ltd. organized a culinary Skill Challenge for aspiring chefs from all around the nation. The challenge was planned in an attempt to their contribution to the skill India mission by the Government of India. The idea is to popularize Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of skilling the youth of India, therefore diminishing unemployment.
The hospitality students got chance to show their culinary skills by preparing multiple cuisines from around the world. The jury for the competition included top notch names from the culinary fraternity, thus creating a talent hunt opportunity for the aspiring chefs who are undergoing training under ‘multiple cuisine cooks’ by the government under Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana. The students will get a chance to meet and network, thereby creating a platform for the enhancement and overall development of the national community of chefs.
