Radisson Blu, Agra, Special Holi Recipe

Chakki ki subji

Ingredients:

  • For chakki
  • Wheat Flour-Atta – 2 cup
  • Oil (for dough) – 2 tbsp
  • For gravy
  • Finely Chopped Onion – 1 medium
  • Finely Chopped tomato – 1 tbsp
  • Curd – 2 tbsp
  • Red Chili Powder – 1/2 tbsp
  • Coriander Powder – 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric Powder – 1/4 tbsp
  • Salt as per taste –
  • Ginger n garlic paste-15 gm
  • Ghee -30 ml
  • For garnish
  • pineapple chutney
  • beetroot chutney
  • mint chutney
  • bell pepper

Instructions:

  • In a bowl, add wheat flour-Atta and make dough, keep it aside for 1 hour.
  • Then make a roll on Tandoor skewer and cooked in clay oven.
  • Remove from Tandoor Take on a cutting board and cut into pieces and keep aside.
  • Heat the oil in a pan on medium flame, add whole Jeera & ginger garlic paste and cook for 1 min.
  • Add onion and garlic, cook it till turns little golden brown.
  • Add tomato & curd, turmeric powder, red chili powder and coriander powder, mix well cook for 4-5 min.
  • Add water, boil it and cook it till curry thick.
  • Garnish with chutney drops & chef style Kachumber salad on Ulte Tawe ki chooti Roti.
  • Serve hot chakki ki Subzi with rice.
