The Asia Hotel & Tourism Investment Conference (AHTIC) will be hosted by the Galle Face Hotel Colombo, Sri Lanka from 28-29 November 2017, in partnership with the Sri Lanka Tourism Club (SLTC), under the patronage of H.E. Maithripala Sirisena, President of Sri Lanka.
AHTIC will attract an international audience comprising of more than 250 senior figures and decision-makers involved in all aspects of hotel and tourism investment in Asia. Over two days, Asia’s leading hotel investors will discuss the investment potential of Sri Lanka and other destinations around the Indian Ocean from Mauritius and the Seychelles to Malaysia and Vietnam.
At AHTIC 2016, the Sri Lankan government announced that they are keen to attract international finance, and launched a series of tourism development zones with the President promising that the next three years, 2017-19, would be investment years with special concessions to overseas investors.
