New Delhi, July 07,2017:Academy of Pastry Arts, India welcomes Chef Guillaume Lejeune, who has recently joined as the ‘Director of Pastry Studies’.

Chef Guillaume Lejeune has over 20 years of experience in French Pastry and Baking. In this two decade of his experience, he worked with some big brands like Fauchon and Ritz in Paris. Armed with experience in running cafes, Chef Guillaume opened his own cafe in Paris which he operated for about 6 years. He later joined as faculty in the prestigious ‘National Hospitality Institute’ in the Sultunate of Oman where he worked for five years.

He has worked for close to 4 years in the National Hospitality Institute, Oman (Oct 2006 – March 2010). He has also worked in various Michelin starred hotels and restaurant such as the RITZ, Paris (Deluxe French Gastronomy & 1 Michelin Star Restaurant), LE MAS DU LANGOUSTIER, South of France (4 Stars Hotel & 1 Michelin Star Restaurant, and the GRAND HOTEL DU CAP FERRAT, South of France (4 Stars Hotel & 1 Michelin Star Restaurant).

The journey with Academy of Pastry Arts started in 2010 when Chef Guillaume joined in the Malaysia center and opened the first school. He was instrumental in designing the curriculum and setting the high standards the academy is known for now. Chef Guillaume has joined as ‘Director of Pastry Studies’ for India Operations. Fondly known as Chef G among his students, Chef Guillaume will be directly responsible to lead the team of chefs at the Academy centers in Bangalore and Gurgaon.

In his free time, Chef Guillaume loves exploring markets and cooking various international cuisine.
 
Inspired by the “Make in India” campaign conceptualized by the Prime Minister of India, the Academy is focused on providing an exceptionally hands on and well designed pastry program which aims at churning out budding pastry chefs and entrepreneurs who no longer need to look for opportunities to train in pastry abroad.
