New Delhi, December 27, 2024: IntrCity SmartBus network has exemplified a transformative journey in 2024, achieving remarkable milestones that underscore our commitment to redefining inter-city travel. Serving nearly 20-25 lakh passengers annually, our technology-driven approach and consumer-first strategy have enabled us to meet an extraordinary 60% surge in summer travel demand and a 20% increase in year-end holiday bookings compared to 2023.
This year, we added nearly 150 services, with 80% of our fleet upgraded to brand-new buses, ensuring enhanced comfort and reliability for our passengers. Building on this momentum, we aim to expand our fleet by an additional 50% in 2025 as we focus on providing better connectivity across key states like Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh.

A significant trend has been the increasing preference for advanced bookings, particularly during the extended holiday season from December 20th to January 2nd, showcasing a growing maturity among Indian travelers and enabling better capacity utilization across our network.
Additionally, concert tourism emerged as a key driver for bookings, with music enthusiasts planning journeys specifically for events. This year’s excitement has set the stage for upcoming international acts like Coldplay in early 2025, making concert tourism a promising segment for us.
