New Delhi, December 08, 2018: Today the World Tourism Day was celebrated in great pomp by the city’s leading Travind Institute of Travel & Tourism Management ( http://www.travindinstitute.com/ ).
As all are aware of the fact that the World Tourism Day is held annually on 27th September. Its purpose is to foster awareness among the international community of the importance of tourism and its social, cultural, political and economic value.
Keeping this message of WTO intact, the Travind Institute of Travel and Tourism, successfully hosted the celebration this year too.

The Institute’s Diploma students near about 50 in number reached out the masses of Pune city by performing live programmes with awareness messages. The Sambhaji park was the center of attraction when the students performed two skits and street plays followed by an Awareness Rally, which evoked messages like Save Trees, Nurture Trees; Save Tigers -Conserve Tigers and AtithiDevoBhava. Messages focused on Environmental Awareness, Wildlife Conservation and Importance of sustainable tourism. The Institute’s effort to boost an Ethical and Moral approach towards Inbound Tourism within our country and educating every citizen to be a responsible Host and to safeguard our Heritage with its monuments, forts and other historical places.
