First up was a Certificate of Excellence 2016 from TripAdvisor based on consistently high guests ratings and reviews. During the annual Best of Bali Awards 2016 conducted by hellobali magazine, the resort picked up a total of four honors. Recognition also went to Velada Tapas Bar & Kitchen as Best New Restaurant. Continuing its winning streak, two of the resort’s dining venues were frontrunners in the Bali’s Best Restaurant, Bar & Café Awards 2016. Prego took top place for the Best Italian Restaurant while Velada Tapas Bar & Kitchen was chosen as Best Spanish Restaurant.
The resort then secured first place in the Holidays with Kids 2016 Top 10 Awards. This yearly poll is conducted by Australia’s leading family travel magazine and website, which helps parents plan for the holiday of a lifetime. Readers were asked to vote for the best family-friendly resorts they’ve encountered based on aspects such as activities and facilities for children, babysitting services, safety and location. In the 2016 World Luxury Hotel Awards, The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali succeeded as Luxury Hotel & Conference Centre for the region. Simultaneously, SmartTravelAsia.com identified the resort as one of the Top 25 Hotels in Asia in their Best in Travel 2016 Poll.
The Hospitality Asia Platinum Awards (HAPA) recently announced its list of winner and four more awards were added to the resort’s growing collection. Heavenly Spa by Westin was voted Indulging Spa of the Year and Prego came in strong as Restaurant of the Year. There was also an award for being the Best Family & Recreational Resort as well as for Service Excellence – Beyond Expectations. The final batch of awards included recognition as Leading Resort in Nusa Dua by Bali Tourism Awards 2016 and Best Family Hotel by Rest & Relax Indonesia. Next came another notable accolade from online wholesaler GTA. The resort was identified for its excellent performance in 2016 for achieving the highest number of room nights in Bali.
