New Delhi, January 19, 2017: Golden Tulip Hotels and Resorts announces the promotion of Mr. Shashi Razdan as Director Operations & Commercial – South East Asia. In his current role, Mr. Razdan would be responsible to support the region’s performance in South East Asia, across 25 hotels.

In his current role as Director of Operations and Commercials, Mr. Razdan would be responsible and accountable for the regions balanced scorecard, collaborating with function specialists to review performance and drive execution across all hotels in the South East Asia region. Mr. Razdan would continue playing a key role in driving guest experience delivery programmes, global operations initiatives of managed and franchised hotels, planning and development of promotional strategies, managing and mentoring the sales and marketing team, implementing revenue generating measures and driving hotel performance.
In his previous role at Golden Tulip Hotels & Resorts as Area Director of Sales and Marketing, Mr. Razdan successfully worked on increasing the overall sales and revenue for the brand in corporate and leisure segment, increased the brand footprints on digital platforms, generated awareness about brand through integrated marketing and pr channels, looked after budgeting and forecasting, sales target revenue and distribution, setting up of new projects, identification & development of new product/business opportunities.
Mr. Razdan brings over 24 years of experience in the hospitality sector, in his previous assignments, Mr. Razdan has worked with IHG, Crowne Plaza, The Imperial Delhi, Orchid & The Oberoi New Delhi. His key focus areas are Hotel operations, Sales, Guest Service Delivery & Owner Management.
