Chef Khanna takes up his new assignment at Shangri-La Hotel, Bengaluru following over 17 years of culinary experience at five-star and luxury hotels. He has seven years of experience as an executive chef and, in addition to his gastronomic expertise, brings a creative flair for food presentation, a strong business sense with a proven track record of streamlining operations with engaging interpersonal skills.
At Shangri-La Hotel, Bengaluru, he will focus on continuously improving the guests’ dining experience through impeccable service and by maintaining the highest quality of food standards. He has a natural ability to create an enthusiastic, productive working environment with customer-oriented professionals. He is a striving team player and believes in the success of his team.
He is a veteran of traditional, regional, progressive Indian and Italian cuisine.

Chef Anurudh has many accolades to his credit and has been the recipient of many recognised awards in the culinary world. He also had the opportunity to showcase the diversity and beauty of Indian cuisine during the prestigious Indian-Stockholm week “Namaste Stockholm” with the president of India and his delegation in Stockholm.
Chef Anurudh has been instrumental in making the restaurants at his previous assignments award winning and has established them as the most sought-after food and beverage destinations in their respective cities.
As executive chef, Anurudh will oversee the hotel’s seven dining venues, including signature Chinese restaurant Shang Palace; Indian specialty restaurant Ssaffron; all-day-dining restaurant b Cafe; Lobby Lounge, which is known for its tea; Japanese restaurant Yataii; Caprese, which serves enticing Mediterranean and Italian delights; and the rooftop lounge-bar, Hype. Chef Anurudh will also oversee the hotel’s in-room dining and banquet operations, as well as catering events.
Chef Khanna, a native of New Delhi, is an alumnus of the Institute of Hotel Management, Kufri Shimla, and holds a BTS degree from IGNOU. In his free time, he likes to travel and is into photography.
