Aquick learner and eternally passionate about the hospitality industry, Manuj’s career has been on an upswing thanks to his exposure to top-of-the-line hospitality brands soon after completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism Studies from the Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) and following it up with a PG Diploma in Guest Service Management from the Oberoi Centre of Learning & Development (OCLD) in the year 2010.
Before his present job, he impressed one and all in in his role in a similar designation of Food and Beverage Director at The Crowne Plaza (IHG), New Delhi. He was instrumental in the implementation of marketing strategies to reposition the hotel in the competitive market and worked towards enhancing the F&B offerings and strengthening the hotel F&B product and aesthetics in compliance with IHG brand standards. Before this, he has enjoyed great success at The Leela Ambience Gurugram Hotel and Resort in his role as Assistant Director, Food & Beverage after being promoted from Banquet Manager, Operations & Services, in the same hotel.
Working for the prestigious The Oberoi hotels and resorts at Agra, Jaipur, Mumbai and Bangalore at the beginning of his career followed by a long stint at TheOberoi, New Delhi as Restaurant Manager facilitated this young and dynamic professional to hone his experience and move up the career ladder by mastering his expertisein all aspects of the F&Bsegment of the industry.
Outside the realm of work, Manuj is social and fun-loving. He is a voracious reader, especially on the subject of the philosophy of life. This car enthusiast also spends his leisure time in pursuing his hobbies like gardening and photography.
