He will be helming Sales and Marketing operations and driving business growth for the luxuty hotel
New Delhi, June 06, 2018: JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity is pleased to announce that it has appointed Karthik Ramdas as the Director of Sales and Marketing. In his new role, he leads a team of 20 and will be responsible for the sales and marketing across the hotel.
With over 17 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Karthik started his career at the Grand Hyatt in New Delhi. His journey then led him from The Trident Gurgaon where he worked in the Sales and Marketing department, to working for the SPG group at The Westin Gurgaon and The Westin Sohna where he was responsible for the growth and development of the MICE and corporate side of the business for the hotels.
Mr. Ramdas has the following to say about his appointment: “I am sure it’s going to be an exciting journey. Aerocity off lately has become a destination in itself with a good mix of MICE, Leisure and Corporate Transient movements. The dynamics of this hotel in terms of business are very different compared to many existing for years, hence the key to success will be to ensure our repeat clientele doesn’t go down while we keep introducing new accounts into the hotel. All this can certainly be achieved by elevating guest experience be it via service, food or innovative meeting set up’s.”
His appointment comes at a time where he will be able to spearhead and drive innovation across the hotel’s business and can work towards ensuring smooth flow of operation for the luxury hotel.
