With over 23 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, Chef Gaurav has built a remarkable career, having worked in various prestigious establishments around the world.

Known for his creativity, innovative approach to cooking, and exceptional team leadership, Chef Gaurav has played a pivotal role in shaping the success of JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu’s award-winning restaurants. Throughout his career, he has earned a reputation for his skill in menu development and his commitment to culinary excellence. Chef Gaurav holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Mumbai and began his journey in the culinary world as a Chef de Partie at the iconic Taj Mahal Hotel in Mumbai. Over the years, he has worked in renowned hotels such as The Kensington Close Hotel in London, The Pullman Jakarta, Sofitel Macau and Fairmont Jaipur amongst others.

As Director of Culinary, Chef Gaurav is dedicated to enhancing innovative dining experiences that reflect the high standards of JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu. He leads the strategic planning and execution of the hotel’s culinary offerings, from restaurants and bars to banquets. With a focus on global trends and local flavours, he ensures consistency and creativity while catering to a wide range of palates.
