Pune, June 16, 2017: Jeslin Mathews has been appointed as Director of Sales at JW Marriott Pune. In his newrole, he will spearhead the sales efforts for the hotel and be responsible for revenue maximization.
With an illustrious career in the hospitality industry, Jeslin brings over 11+ years of experience working in various sales functions and different brands across the Marriott portfolio. His contagious passion, commitment and “Never give up” attitude has helped him grow to be a key leader.
Jeslin began his career as an Assistant Sales Manager at Le Meridien, Pune and has swiftly climbed the ladderthereon.His Marriott journey began with Courtyard by Marriott Hinjewadi, Pune, there after went on to open the first National Sales office in Pune. He was also in integral part of the Kochi Marriott Hotel’s pre-opening sales team. In his most recent position he was Associate Director of Sales at JW Marriott Pune he was overlooking the team’s sales goals.
Jeslin has completed his graduation from Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University in Hotel Management and further got aMaster’sfrom Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning (SCDL), Pune in Marketing Management and Human Resources. He also holds a diploma in Hotel Management & Tourism from American Hotels and lodging association.
He is self-disciplined, driven and a skilled tactician, Jeslin is a dedicated force to be reckoned with and JW Marriott Pune is proud to have him onboard.
