Gurugram, August 30, 2018: Karma Lakelands has appointed Chef Jayanandan Bhaskar as their Executive Chef. In his new role, the Chef will be responsible for overseeing the resort’s culinary direction, introducing organic dishes, and setting standards to ensure exceptional quality, range, and taste in cuisines offered at Karma Lakelands’ ‘On Kourse’ restaurant, AK’s bar and during events.
From becoming a runner-up at MasterChef India Season 1 in 2010, he has grown a lot and has come a long way. He won the ‘Popular Chef’ Award at “Popular Brand Awards 2015” and has also hosted many shows including “Chesdale Tadka Marke” which was telecasted on Star Plus in Dubai and London.
On being asked about his association with Karma Lakelands, Chef Jayanandan said, “I was thrilled after my first visit to Karma Lakelands and inspecting the quality of land and produce; land is matured perfectly for organic produce. Fresh and organic ingredients at an expanse like this got my thoughts rolling and flexibility offered by the management kind of sealed the deal for me. I have a lot of plans in the pipeline which will be exciting for everyone to experience like introducing Arabic & Turkish cuisines. For me as a chef, being able to pluck my ingredients and creating a dish right there without any lapse in time has its appeal and that is what I intend to move forward with at Karma.”
