New Delhi, March 21, 2025: InterGlobe Foundation, the philanthropic arm of InterGlobe Enterprises,  commenced its 10-day exhibition, ‘Tangible Conversations, Intangible Heritage’ at Sunder Nursery, New Delhi. The launch event celebrated and felicitated the contributions of individuals who  have made remarkable strides in preserving and promoting India’s rich cultural legacy. The exhibition was inaugurated by Ms. Rohini Bhatia, Chairperson, InterGlobe Foundation, and Dr. Monica Banerjee, Head of InterGlobe Foundation.

The evening unfolded with a panel discussion on “Cultural Continuity: Conserving, Mapping, Documenting Heritage” featuring esteemed panelists Laila Tyabji (Chairperson and Founder Member, DASTKAR), Soity Banerjee (Journalist & Responsible Tourism Strategist), Tara Sharma (Director, Jungwa Foundation), and was moderated by Ratish Nanda (CEO, Aga Khan Trust for Culture). The discussion underscored the significance of cultural continuity in fostering a sense of belonging and  pride among communities, and the collective responsibility we share in preserving our cultural legacy for future generations.

The ‘Tangible Conversations, Intangible Heritage’ initiative showcases the noteworthy work of cultural enthusiasts, scholars, and practitioners as they delve into the various facets of India’s rich cultural legacy. This 10-day exhibition features an array of photographs, photo essays, and installations, all highlighting the diverse heritage of the country. It serves as the annual showcase for the ‘InterGlobe Heritage Fellowships’, which has been instrumental in providing a platform for individuals from various fields to explore previously undocumented aspects of Indian heritage through the medium of articles and photographs.

Open to the public from March 21 to March 30, 2025, from 11 am to 7 pm, at Sunken Gardens, Sunder Nursery, the exhibition offers visitors a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the vibrant tapestry of India’s past. It focuses on society, tangible heritage, and intangible heritage as  the three core pillars of cultural preservation and underscores InterGlobe Foundation’s unwavering commitment to strengthening these by engaging local communities, mapping cultural assets, and preserving heritage sites across the country.
