National, July 27, 2019: Indore Marriott Hotel is now being known for giving the city authentic and flavorsome food festivals. Indore Marriott Hotel brings yet another 10 day long food festival that will allow the guests to feast on some authentic Awadhi cuisines. The food festival will be held from 26th of July 2019 to 4th of August 2019, from 7.30pm to 11.30pm at Indore Marriott Hotel’s All Day Dining restaurant – Indore Kitchen (Buffet) and in 54 Praangan (Thali system).
To bring out the authentic flavor, Indore Marriott Hotel has invited a specialty chef from Lucknow to Indore, Chef Asif Qureshi, who would weave the magic of taste with an array of authentic cuisines of Awadh and Rampur. The menu for this 10-day long food festival has been curated by the head chef of 54 Praangan – Chef Azaz Qureshi and the guest Chef Asif Qureshi.
The food festival is being conducted with an aim to provide guests with appetizing and authentic Awadhi delicacies in a buffet spread that has been priced at INR 1299/- onwards. Some of the traditional and popular Awadhi dishes that are part of the menu are: pasanda, shammi kebab, Nookhti aloo taka tak, tawa pulao, sewaiyan and zarda – a classic dessert from Lucknow, to name a few.
Chef Asif Qureshi said, “Awadhi cuisines are known for providing a royal and tasteful flavor. The richness of Awadhi cuisines lies not only in the variety of recipes, but also in using specialized techniques in preparing the rich spices. We would like Indoreans to experience this flavor, thus, we have handpicked some interesting and royal Awadhi cuisines for this food festival.”
