New Delhi, April 07, 2017: Employees from all Delhi and NCR based Taj Hotels, including the Taj Palace, New DelhiThe Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi;Vivanta by Taj – Surajkund; Vivanta by Taj – Dwarka and Vivanta by Taj Ambassador, New Delhi,came together to present a one-of -a -kind fashion showTantra.

Held at the Lutynes Lawns of Vivanta by Taj Ambassador, New Delhi, the unique fashion show reflected the Taj Group’s philosophy of instilling joy,team spirit and a healthy work culture amongst employees.

Conceptualized by renowned Indian Fashion Designer, Ms. Ravita Mayor, Tantra saw spirited performances by all the participants and teams from across hotels. The show, where associates walked the ramp wearing vibrant outfits by the designer, was a resplendent affair. The evening celebrated the company’s leadership and seamless team coordination.

The theme of the fashion show was ‘Incredible India and its traditions’. The show was divided into three rounds, each centered around a different idea. The first named Kashmir to Kanyakumari had associates showcase beautiful outfits reflecting the diverse culture of our vibrant country. The second round was called London to New York with the employees clad in chic and contemporary outfits. The third and final round, Days of Raaj had employees showcasing a royal ensemble.

The fashionable event witnessed the attendance of activist and Indian classical dancer,Ms. Mallika Sarabhai, renowned business professional, Mr. Rohit Karma and contemporary Indian artist, Ms. Jayasri Burman as its judges. The final accolades for the evening were awarded.The winning team, The Taj Mahal Hotel, New Delhi, was awarded the final accolades by Mr. Rajendra Kumar, Director United Hotels Limited & former President FHRAI.

The fashion show was a fine exemplar of true team spirit and encouraged colleagues to put each one’s best foot forward. The evening was a wonderful display of the bonhomie among the Hotels’ employees and left the teams geared up for the next such Taj showcase.
