New Delhi, December 15, 2016: His Holiness, the Tibetan Spiritual leader – Dalai Lama, was in Mysore to attend the 97th convocation of the University of Mysore and deliver the convocation address. For his two day visit to the city, The Dalai Lama was hosted at the Hotel Grand Mercure Mysuru on New Sayyaji Rao Road.
The Tibetans dressed in their traditional attire, Chupa – were gathered in numbers to get a glimpse of their leader. The Dalai Lama, who is the recipient of the Nobel Prize for Peace (1989) will be conferred with an Honorary degree along with Pramoda Devi Wadiyar during the convocation at the University of Mysore.
