Ingredients
- 3-4 potatoes
- 1 tsp oil
- 1/2 cup tofu, grated
- 1 tsp light soya
- 1/2 onion, minced
- 1 tsp garlic mince
- Salt to taste
- 1 tsp pepper
- 4 tablespoon refined flour
- 1 cup Corn flour slurry
- 2 cups Panko
- oil for deep frying
Instructions
- Peel potatoes and cut into 4 pieces each. Cook in boiling water until soft. In a big bowl, mash potatoes well.
- Heat oil in a pan, and start cooking garlic and onion. Then add tofu and soya and cooked through. Season with salt and pepper.
- Mix potatoes and tofu mixture and add some more salt and pepper to taste. Let it cool.
- Divide potato mixture into 8 pieces and make oval patties. Refrigerate for an hour.
- Coat with flour, then slurry, and finally Panko.
- Heat deep frying oil to 350-375F, and deep fry the patties for 3-4 minutes till golden brown in colour.
- Serve with Cheesy peas and corn dip.
