Coffee, Culture & Community: Maverick & Farmer’s Annual Harvest Festival Returns This February

Bengaluru, February 25, 2026: The fourth edition of Maverick & Farmer’s Harvest Festival returns on 28th February and 1st March 2026, bringing two days of flavour and festivity to its Ulsoor café in Bengaluru. Marking the close of India’s coffee harvest season, the festival brings Indian coffee and its culture into conversation with art, food, music and community. The 2026 edition will feature more than 15 curated events, including coffee pairings and tastings, hands-on workshops, art sessions, shopping and a 50-member drum circle. A special festival menu inspired by South India’s coffee-growing regions, along with collaborations with artisans and small entrepreneurs, will celebrate the harvest festival as a shared cultural moment that connects craft, community and creativity.

At the heart of the festival is coffee in its many expressions. The ‘Green Bean Showcase’ by the Specialty Coffee Association of India (SCAI), led by Sreeram Gangadharan, Co-founder of Maverick & Farmer, runs across both days, inviting attendees to explore coffees from different growing regions and engage more deeply with India’s evolving coffee landscape. The ‘Live Roasting Workshop’ examines the craft and chemistry of roasting, while ‘From Raw Cherries to the Perfect Roast’, led by Co-founder Tej Thammaiah, traces the freshly harvested green coffee’s journey from farm to cup. ‘Making Coffee Sexy with Maverick Monday Recipes’, led by Co-founder and Q Grader Ashish D’Abreo, brings the brand’s popular Instagram series to life in a live, interactive format.

Alongside the coffee sessions, the festival will feature – a Cyanotype Workshop by Kapila, a cupcake icing workshop by Magnolia Bakery and ‘The Booch Bar Sober Cocktail Workshop’ by Mountain Bee Kombucha, amongst others. Gully Tours’ ‘Coffee Chronicles’ walk returns to guide participants through the city’s coffee history, while live performances by BLR Drums Collective, Broko and a kids’ music band carry the celebrations through the weekend.
