The world class competition that was held over a span of two days saw participation from seven prominent pastry chefs from leading hotels across the country. The first day of the event included making of a chocolate bon-bon with a focus on regional flavour as well as making a cake of the day- a minimum freeze cake. Whereas, the second day of the competition witnessed contestants competing to prepare the best version of chocolate on-the-go. This was an innovative idea based on the underlying concept of street food including the packaging as well as the chocolate display.

Commemorating this momentous occasion, Dinesh Sharma, Co-Founder, Academy of Pastry Arts, had said “We are delighted to announce that our in-house Chef Alisha has brought great honour to the Academy of Pastry Arts by winning the prestigious Callebaut Patisserie of the Year award. Not only this, she also bagged the title of the ‘Best Chocolate Showpiece’ in the individual category. We, at the Academy are very proud of Chef Alisha’s accomplishments and take this moment to congratulate her for achieving this significant milestone in her career.”
The academy has established itself as the finest hub of education in the field of pastry and culinary. They strive to maintain this by bringing in new trends in the field, partner with the best chefs in the industry and take this innovative way of teaching to more people by opening new centres in Asia.
