New Delhi, November 19, 2019: The Indian Wine Day is an ode to the buoyant indigenous wine market in the country. In its third year, the occasion was marked by the pairing of finest Indian wines and exquisite Indian food. The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group had partnered with Indian Wine Academy and curated an exciting Wine Dinner Experience on November 16, 2019.

French Corporate sommelier for The Lalit Group, Charles Donnadieu and The Wine Academy joined hands to discover the most delicate wines from local vineyards. With utmost precision the menu for the event was crafted to compliment the fine palate of the wines with the Indian cuisine.

The menu consisted of Indian Canapés station paired with Sula Brut Rose; pre-starter of smoked mushroom and sweet potato strings served with onion relish on a phulka taco paired with bubbly sparkling wine of The Daily Rose Sauvignon Blanc and starters like Goan spiced tandoori prawn and Panch Phoran spiced grilled yoghurt petty were paired with The Source Rose. The main course consisted of Anjeer, akhroti bhara tawa paneer roll and Parat ka Murgh Tikka paired with Reveilo Nero D’ Avola and it summed up with were smoothing wine of Fratelli Noi paired with Badam Halwa Pie.
