Mumbai, November 14, 2019: Food lovers in Mumbai have the opportunity to taste authentic Thai cuisine, right here in the city. Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach is hosting a 12 day long Thai Food Festival at Sampan and it promises to delight your taste buds. The festival of all things Thai will feature many popular and relatively lesser-known dishes from the cuisine, all thanks to a menu crafted by MasterChef Penpa.
The flavours of Thai cuisine combine three out of the four basic tastes – sweet, sour and salty, and each dish is traditionally prepared with delicious ingredients. There are a variety of options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Delectable delights on the menu include Khao Tang Na Tang’ Rice Crackers with Minced Pork and Shrimp Dip, ‘Mee Krob’ Crispy Sweet and Sour Vermicelli, Broccoli Phad Tao Jiew’ Sauteed Broccoli with Soya Bean Paste, ‘Khao Phad Sapparod’ Pineapple Fried Rice, ‘Khao Suay’ Steamed Jasmine Rice among others. For dessert, guests can indulge in ‘Woon Kati’ Coconut Milk Jelly, ‘Kanom Kluay’ Steamed Banana Pudding with Shredded Coconut and ‘Tub Tim Krob’ Coated Water Chestnuts Dumplings in Iced Coconut Milk
The Thai food menu is available at Sampan during both lunch and dinner and is a one-of-a-kind flavourful experience.
