Bengaluru, October 29, 2024: With the festive season in full swing, JW Marriott Bengaluru Prestige Golfshire Resort & Spa embraced the celebrations and ushered into the festivities. Set against the stunning Nandi Hills, the resort celebrated their annual cake mixing ceremony and infused the atmosphere with cheer and joy. The event was graced by prominent faces from the city, residents of Prestige Golfshire Villa, food connoisseurs and loyal patrons. The resort’s picturesque open space near the tranquil Lap pool was transformed into a festive wonderland, bringing the holiday spirit to life in a delightful sensory experience.
The age-old tradition of cake mixing, a jubilant prelude to the festive season, unfolded in a symphony of colors, aromas, and flavors. Guests donned chef’s hats and aprons, their hands diving into large bowls filled with glacé cherries, dates, nuts, and an assortment of fragrant spices. With a delightful assortment of fruits, spices, and liquors, the cake mixing was crafted under the guidance of their culinary team, led by Director of Culinary Neeraj Rawoot. The blend has now been left to mature until Christmas and baked into delectable Christmas cakes & goodies.
The air filled with the dulcet tones of in-house musicians, their melodies weaving through the cheerful chatter of participants. As hands worked and spirits lifted, guests were treated to an array of gourmet delights and treats, adding a touch of sophistication to the joyous occasion. Starters were artfully presented alongside a meticulously curated selection of artisanal cheeses, making for an unforgettable high tea experience that was truly memorable for all.
“The Cake Mixing Ceremony was our way of ushering in the festive season with open arms and open hearts,” shared Ronan Fearon, General Manager of JW Marriott Bengaluru Prestige Golfshire Resort & Spa. “It was a moment when our guests could pause from their busy lives and immerse themselves in the simple pleasure of creating something wonderful together.
