A seasoned finance business partner, Siddhartha has built an accomplished career across India, the Middle East, and island destinations, with a proven track record of driving profitability, strengthening governance frameworks, and enabling sustainable growth. In his most recent role as Director of Finance at Novotel Kolkata Hotel & Residences, he led long-term financial strategy, revenue optimisation initiatives, cost-efficiency programmes, and compliance excellence while mentoring a large, multi-functional finance team.
Siddhartha’s professional journey includes senior leadership roles with Accor Group across multiple properties, where he served as Multi-Property Director of Finance for Novotel and ibis Bengaluru, as well as earlier roles at Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre, ibis Pune, and international assignments in Qatar, Maldives, and Bahrain. His experience spans pre-opening and operational stabilisation, large-scale contract renegotiations, CAPEX planning, audit excellence, and the implementation of robust internal control systems aligned with global brand standards.
Widely respected for his ability to balance fiscal discipline with business enablement, Siddhartha has consistently delivered strong results in GOP growth, RevPAR improvement, cost rationalisation, and asset safeguarding. His leadership has been recognised with Accor Finance Person of the Year awards in 2014 and 2024, underscoring his impact and credibility within the organisation.
In his new role at Fairmont Udaipur Palace, Siddhartha will oversee financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, procurement, compliance, and strategic resource optimisation, ensuring that financial stewardship continues to support the palace’s vision of timeless luxury, exceptional guest experiences, and long-term value creation.
