New Delhi, April 11, 2019: On 2nd April 2019, Autism Centre For Excellence lit up DLF Promenade in the color blue as part of the international #LightItUpBlue Campaign. ACE had partnered with the DLF Promenade Mall to celebrate World Autism Awareness Day, and had organized a fun-filled series of events as an initiative to spread awareness about the autism community.

The team put together a fabulous show that included musical performances at the Mall Atrium by renowned band Chizai, autism information booths and a surprise flashmob by the teachers of ACE. As soon as the sun set down, the mall was lit up in blue. Parents and children were excited to be a part of this occasion and happy about the rising awareness of the cause of autism. Children with Autism syndrome were noticed enjoying the songs sung by Chizai. They were also actively interacting with their parents and teachers at the event.

ACE also associated with food partners Yum Yum Cha and Cinnabon to offer exciting meal vouchers and discount coupons to participants who answered and won the quiz which asked questions related to Autism. The games helped educating people on Autism, its cause that brought in immense learning to the participants.

In the past, Autism Centre for Excellence (ACE), has also been associated with Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) and Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment to light up India’s prestigious monument Qutub Minar, showing support to the autism community.
