This bean salad record attempt is not attempted by anyone at anywhere; this is a very fresh record attempt so we have created this challenge and it is done as per the specific guidelines of Guinness world records. We have prepared the plan of work for this largest bean salad as per Guinness world records guidelines and got the preapproval of the same from Record management team of Guinness world records two months before attempting this challenge. Each and every thing in relate to this record attempt is performed as per the Guinness pre-approved plan. The entire record attempt is documented and recorded by videography and photography.

Usually the salad will be in western flavour but this Bean Salad is prepared in South Indian flavour which is a mix of varieties of beans, vegetables, tadka, coconut etc., (recipe of the bean salad is attached with this email) Designated Food Safety Officer Somasundaram and Assistant Commissioner of Labour (enforcement) K. Kalidas accessed the food standards and weighing methods during the event.

A concoction of steamed black and white lima beans, kidney beans, mung beans, green gram, black-eyed peas, horse gram, green peas, groundnut, black and white chickpeas were blended together with edible oil, green chillies, coriander leaves, grated coconut. Also mixed together with the beans were vegetables including carrot, beetroot, cabbage, capsicum, potato, onion with flavoring ingredients like vinegar, cumin seed powder, asafoetida and tadka. The top of the bean salad is colored with tri colour in the mark of Independence Day.  The preparation of this bean salad starts a day before the attempt and it goes up to 18 hours including soaking, cooking and pre-preparing the ingredients & vegetables. Each bean is weighed individually before and after the cooking and it is recorded in the log note. The vegetables are also weighed before and after pre-preparation. Beans are most nutritious ingredients and we are mostly using very less in our diet but this record attempt is aimed to promote the healthy eating habits and including the beans in our daily diet as major portion. Documents with supporting evidences will be sent to the Guinness World Records for its certification.
