Chef Gaggan Anand’s progressive Indian cuisine has earned his eponymous restaurant top honours in Asia’s Best Restaurants List for three years consecutively. He is currently Asia’s No.1 chef and has earned the rank of No. 7 in the world as per the latest World Top 50 Restaurants rankings. Set over multiple courses, his tasting menu uses molecular gastronomy and unique technique to bring the best of Indian flavours in a plating style that challenges common food perceptions.

As part of the unique pop-up at Varq, the award winning modern Indian dining destination at Taj Mahal, New Delhi, Chef Gaggan and his team along with Taj chefs combined their exemplary knowledge and passion for food and created an exclusive gastronomic experience. The exquisite pop-up offered diners the rare chance to sample the famed Gaggan menu at the iconic Hotel. The bespoke 12 course menu was reflective of the Capital City’s signature ingredients, flavours and seasonality.

This exclusive experience unravelled the exquisite progressive cooking secrets by Chef Gaggan, taking the guests through the innovative evolution of Indian cuisine. This included the Chef’s stellar creations paired with exquisite wines such as the Idly Sambhar Framingham Riesling, Banana Chicken Liver Marchesi di Barolol Barbaresco, Green Curry Boekentskloof, Jalebi Doenh off Riesling, amongest many other delights.
