Macao, September 24, 2016:Michael Jackson fans in Macao and Hong Kong have been dancing in the streets during a series of flash mob events popping up as part of promotions for THRILLER LIVE, a stunning theatrical concert created to commemorate arguably the world’s greatest ever entertainer, coming to The Parisian Theatre at the newly-opened The Parisian Macao from Sept. 30 to Nov. 13, 2016.

Flash mob street performances have entertained lucky crowds at landmarks throughout Macao including The Parisian Macao’s Main Lobby,Place Vendome and Eiffel Tower;The Venetian Macao’s St Mark’s Square; and the Ruins of St. Paul’s. In Hong Kong flash mobs have been spotted moon walking across Lan Kwai Fong, Times Square, Kowloon Cultural Centre Waterfront, The Peak, and the pedestrian area around So go in Causeway Bay.

The impromptu shows, designed to celebrate the iconic music and dance moves of the legendary superstar have surprised and thrilled crowds, who are encouraged to join in the fun.The talented team of dancers and Michael Jackson lookalike have performed some of his greatest hits, including “ABC”, “Blame it on the Boogie”, “Smooth Criminal” and “Thriller”, much to the delight of passers-by.

Direct from London’s West End where it is now in its eighth year, THRILLER LIVE, which has been performed over 5,000 times and seen by more than four million people in 30 countries, continues to travel the world and is now finally in Macao. A 90-minute, high-energy explosion of pop, rock, soul and disco takes the audience on a magical audio-visual journey through Michael Jackson’s astonishing 45-year musical legacy.

The Parisian Macao, which held its grand opening on Sept. 13 as the newest addition to Sands Resorts Cotai Strip Macao, will be hosting THRILLER LIVE for a limited season as the first show to be held at the 1,200-seat The Parisian Theatre.
