Two great nations…two extreme cultures… two glorious menus… Just One Door!

Gurugram, September 16, 2016: The classic and sophisticated Pan-Indian experience from Veda has arrived alongside its debutant Chinese restaurant Djinggs at sector 29, Gurugram. The restaurant is an excellent confluence of the two cultures which is projected very aesthetically. It has an ambience so beautifully put together, with influences of the two neighbouring nations reflected in the décor that only adds to the experience, of the luxury, of not having to choose between the two legendary cuisines.

In a place like sector 29, which is so driven by the pub culture, there is a dearth of fine-dining restaurants. Veda and Djinggs acts like a messiah for the cause; having two separate kitchens, headed by two different head chefs, one being Pan-Indian and the other being Sichuan Styled Chinese and separate teams managing Indian and Chinese sections independently, It has a wide array of exotic dishes in both of their distinct menus only to be unified by their unique and signature ‘Clay Pot’ dishes.

The restaurant is divided in two equal portions with Veda having ethnic Indian style interiors; be it the grand mirrors, the velvet couches, the lotus-motif tables and Djinggs with its oriental painted sun umbrellas and classic Chinese styled wooden tables. “Partitioned” by a common bar – The McMahon bar is a clever reference to the McMahon line which is the Indo-china border.

The visionary behind the place is to bring together cultural experiences of the two nations in a comfortable yet refined ambience. The management pledges, “a pleasurable and unique experience with the most elegant Indian and Chinese food to have come to Gurugram, in a long time.” It promises a great time, with no disappointment to patrons and fresh clientele alike.

Veda & Djinggs will be open throughout the week from 12.00 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. and 7.00 p.m. to 11.30 p.m.
