It celebrates the vision and accomplishments of the stakeholders, investors, architects behind these businesses.

The winning concept will be an emerging brand that has been operating for no more than two years before the closing entry date, and which is showing impressive potential for international growth. Legend Award: This award recognizes an individual responsible for a concept or concepts that have changed the face of global restaurant food service. The winner will have had a profound impact upon the industry they serve. They may have introduced an innovative new process, system or practice, or a new business model, that has disrupted global food service.

Chef at Sea Award: The food & beverage experience on board a cruise liner must rival that of any hotel fine dining offering while overcoming a unique and complex set of challenges. The recipient of this award must have made a major contribution through innovation in cooking techniques, styles of cuisine and the understanding of culinary processes applied to the cruise industry. The award also recognises a wider contribution to the promotion of the cruise industry as a source of innovation, and as an attractive career choice.
