Mumbai, July, 27, 2016: U Tropicana Alibaug is pleased to announce appointment of Mr. Russell Shane Gregory as General Manager of the resort, effective August 1, 2016.
Academically qualified with a degree in Hotel Management, Russell brings along, diverse experience of over 18 years in Hotel Operations, which includes Rooms Division, Sales and Marketing, Food and Beverage and Guest Services. He has vivid exposure to hotel pre-openings, and worked with notable international brands such as One and Only Hotels, Shangri-La International, Six Sense Resorts.
Prior to joining Absolute Hotel Services Russell was General Manager (Unit) & Lead Food & Beverage Head (Pan India) for Citrus Hotels & Resorts and was responsible for consistently delivering results that contribute to the mission and overall success of the hotel by accomplishing performance objectives focused on business revenues, guest and associate satisfaction.
In his role as General Manager of U Tropicana Alibaug, Russell will be responsible for launching the new premium Villas and scaling the profile of the resort to the lifestyle segment. His international exposure in the Food and Beverage domain would make the resort be seen as a happening place, where one would come to rejoice, have fun, rejuvenate and unwind.
