Montreal, April 13, 2015- mTrip’s white label apps for for leisure tour operators, OTA and travel agencies has won Best Mobile Travel Solution at the 2015 EyeforTravel Innovation in Travel Awards!

The EyeForTravel Innovation in Travel Awards and Conference is an industry leading event where companies must be voted to present a case study of their products. Presenting for mTrip was Founder and CEO Frederic de Pardieu, who showcased mTrip’s mobile solution for leisure tour operators, OTA and travel agencies.

Focusing on allowing travel operators to engage with customers from the with their customers from the time they book their trip until they return, the branded app acts as the customer’s personal travel assistant with three goals: improving the client’s travel experience, generating ancillary revenue, and expanding brand visibility.

Customers get their entire trip in a single 100% offline app with more than just the basic information like flight info and a trip overview. They’ll be able to plan their entire trip with access to detailed destination guides for all their stops using intelligent tools such as the Trip Genius™ which automatically generates daily itineraries. Travel operators can take this opportunity generate ancillary revenue by targeting their customers while planning their trip.

Most travel operators miss 25% of their clients’ travel expenditure as they don’t connect with them while they are planning their trip, however, they can create a new revenue stream selling attraction tickets, city cards, tours, travel insurance, local SIM cards and other offers.

Once at their destination, customers will have the guidance and resources of a personal tour guide in the palm of their hand. 100% offline with no roaming fees, the mobile app provides travelers with rich travel guides, detailed daily itineraries and the confidence explore their destinations using the integrated offline maps and navigation all branded under the travel operator’s name. They’ll also be able to take advantage dozens of other features like augmented reality, around me, postcards and currency converter.

After their trip, customers will be able to share their great travel experience through the trip journal or other deeply integrated social features giving travel operators the best sales tool available: word of mouth.
