Bengaluru, March 29, 2016: The annual Hospitality Investment Conference Indonesia (HICI) 2016 will be back for the second time in Jakarta from 28 to 29 April. HICI 2016 is a part of the Asia-focused Hospitality Investment series organised by Sphere Conferences, the conference arm of Singapore Press Holdings Limited (SPH).

With the continued support from the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Indonesiasince its inception in 2015,HICI has established itself as the networking and business opportunity platform for local and regional hospitality businesses in Indonesia. HICI also serves as one of the Ministry’s channels of engaging key stakeholders for in in-depth discussions revolving around pertinent challenges and prospects of the Indonesian market.

In its efforts to increase international visitor numbers, the Indonesian government’s immediate plans are granting foreign investors full ownership of their tourism-related businesses, offer visa-free entry status to an increasing number of nationalities, as well as promote new tourism destinations outside of Jakarta and Bali.
