Chef Thomas brings in his expertise to dish out innovative mouth watering dishes at Mövenpick Hotel & Spa Bangalore

Bengaluru, Karnataka, September 25, 2012 -- Mövenpick Hotel & Spa, Bangalore has announced the appointment of Thomas Joseph as the Executive Chef of the property. Chef Thomas' key responsibilities will include overseeing the hotel's multiple restaurants, designing signature breakfast and lunch menus, devising global cuisines, and bringing world class gourmet experiences to Bangalore culinary canvas.

Prior to joining Mövenpick Hotel & Spa Bangalore as Executive Chef, Thomas Joseph was the Executive Chef at The InterContinental Lalit Golf & Spa Resort in Goa and was instrumental in increasing the profile of the property's various restaurants across the region.

Speaking on his appointment, Thomas Joseph, Executive Chef, Mövenpick Hotel & Spa Bangalore said, "I'm delighted to address the gastronomic desires of our extensive clientele in the capacity of Executive Chef at Bangalore's premier Swiss Hotel. I'm confident that my past experience and associations and extensive training in global cuisines will help to gratify the discerning culinary tastes of Bangalore food connoisseurs."

Chef Thomas Joseph has been significant in revolutionising and creating innovative food and beverage concepts and this earned him the title of the "Most Outstanding Chef" during his long tenure with The Leela Kovalam Beach, Kerala. His team also won the "Most Outstanding Culinary Establishment" at the prestigious Kerala Food Show in 2008.

An eloquent speaker, Chef Thomas comes with a 15 years of comprehensive experience with stalwarts in the hospitality industry such as the JW Marriott Mumbai, The Leela Kempinski Mumbai and the erstwhile Hilton Towers (now Trident, Nariman Point, Mumbai of the Oberoi Group). Apart from designing innovative healthy recipes, his other interests travelling, and watching movies.
