With the first Townhouse in Karnataka, OYO will break new ground as a true category innovator through an offering that combines experience and value at a scale that has never been attempted before in the hospitality landscape. Brefing reporters, Oyo Coo Abhinav Sinha said the company had so far set up 7 such hotels in locations in Guargaon, Delhi and Hyderabad and the network would be expanded to 250 locations across the country. In the city, after its first in Indira Nagar, OYO plans to expand Townhouse hotels at other popular locations in the city including Koramangala, MG Road, Trinity Circle and Marathahalli. Priced at Rs 2500 and upwards, Townhouse provides a unique hospitality experience in the heart of popular neighbourhoods, he said. Its 'neighbourhood' connect is a result of understanding that Millennials like to switch seamlessly from work to play.' He said the hospitality industry in India suffers from a major disconnect between demand and supply of quality living space, forcing travellers and city-dwellers to compromise on decision variables of location, comfort and pricing. OYO Townhouse addresses this gap by creating a perfect equilibrium between location, comfort and pricing using OYO's proprietary technology and skilled talent pool of hospitality experts. The company undertakes complete operations of these units along with interior and exterior construction with a group of highly qualified architects and structural engineers, he added. OYO entered Karnataka in September 2014 and today partners 500 hotels with over 6000 rooms in the standardized budget segment. Mr Sinha said the company was also entering into a partnership with KSTDC to operate a few of the Jungle Lodge Resort (JLR) properties. Bengaluru, May 24, 2017:

· OYO to launch 25 Townhouse properties in Karnataka this year to tap the mid-market and premium leisure segment

· Townhouse, ‘the friendly neighbourhood hotel’, is a unique combination of a hotel, home, merchandise store and café

OYO , India’s largest and most innovative hospitality company, today introduced its mid-market offering OYO Townhouse in Bengaluru. With the first Townhouse in Karnataka, OYO will break new ground as a true category innovator through an offering that combines experience and value at a scale that has never been attempted before in the hospitality landscape.

After its maiden Townhouse in the Garden City at Indira Nagar, OYO plans to expand Townhouse hotels at other popular locations in the city including Koramangala, MG Road, Trinity Circle and Marathahalli. Priced at INR 2500 and upwards, Townhouse provides a unique hospitality experience in the heart of popular neighbourhoods. By the end of year 2017, OYO will establish 25 Townhouse properties in and around Bengaluru.

Speaking at the occasion Mr. Abhinav Sinha, COO - OYO said, “ OYO Townhouse utilizes our state-of-the art technology and patented processes to deliver a unique hospitality experience . Townhouse’s “neighbourhood” connect is a result of understanding that Millennials like to switch seamlessly from work to play. They want freedom to choose, change and decide at a moment’s notice, but that flexibility is not extended to quality and consistency of service, which remains non-negotiable. Travel and hospitality are at the heart of this ‘planning paradox’. ”

The hospitality industry in India suffers from a major disconnect between demand and supply of quality living space, forcing travellers and city-dwellers to compromise on decision variables of location, comfort and pricing. OYO Townhouse addresses this gap by creating a perfect equilibrium between location, comfort and pricing using OYO’s proprietary technology and skilled talent pool of hospitality experts. OYO undertakes complete operations of these units along with interior and exterior construction with a group of highly qualified architects and structural engineers.

OYO entered Karnataka in September 2014 and today partners 500 hotels with over 6000 rooms in the standardized budget segment. OYO’s offerings have been very well-received in Bengaluru - a hub of cosmopolitan culture in India. Karnataka itself is home to more than 80 Fortune 500 companies and over 700 multinationals. The Townhouse concept of home, cafe and shopping experience delivered at hotels in exciting and accessible locations will attract the growing class of young millennial students and workers in the state.

Abhinav added, “ We pride ourselves on our innovation-first approach to enabling greater convenience and predictability in the accommodation sector. We are extremely excited about this opportunity to present the modern face of hospitality to travellers in Karnataka. One just has to think of breaking away from routine on impulse and with Townhouse, a neighbourhood destination is there in one’s reach. It gives me great pride to share today that we are also entering into a partnership with KTDC to operate a few of the Jungle Lodge Resort (JLR) properties. Now a reliable OYO experience awaits you at JLR !.”

OYO is the global pioneer of a new business model that was developed in India, where-in the company partnered with hotels to standardize and transform their rooms to deliver a hassle-free experience to guests. It pioneered the use of technology in budget-hotel operations and created a new kind of a hospitality company. In a little over 3 years since launch, OYO has become India’s largest hospitality company. With its promise of standardized and predictable stays, it caters to the impulse-planning behavior displayed by millennial traveller. OYO has several consumer friendly touch-points such as the OYO App which allows guests to control every aspect of their experience - from booking hotel and cabs to ordering food - from their smartphone. Recently, the company introduced OYO Captains, a unique concierge service to ensure smooth travelling and on-stay experience. OYO currently operates over 70,000 rooms in 200 cities in India, Malaysia and Nepal.

New Delhi, May 24, 2017: Aman has a knack for pushing boundaries. The London-based brand's resorts and hotels have been redefining hospitality for decades, turning historic palaces , ancient fortresses , and even entire villages into one-of-a-kind luxury escapes. For its latest travel trick, however, Aman aims to take travelers to new heights—literally and figuratively—on a series of wellness-focused tours via private jet .

Announced in March, Aman's Private Jet Wellness Journeys will take travelers to the Hindu temples of the Kingdom of Alwar, the spiritual monuments of Java, and the islands of Phuket for wellness experiences that may include yoga and Pilates sessions, Ayurvedic therapies, and one-on-one meetings with wellness gurus. Created in collaboration with the outfitter Remote Lands, the 14- to 16-day trips will each take just 16 guests on two Gulstream G200 private jets from destination to destination, with overnights at such beloved Aman properties as Sri Lanka's Amangalla and Amanwella, Bali's Amandari and Amankila, and India's Amanbagh .

Aman has partnered with internationally recognized names in health, meditation, yoga, and Pilates for guided experiences that serve travelers' bodies, souls, and sense of wanderlust. A 16-day journey through Indonesia, the Philippines, and Vietnam—which takes place September 18 through October 3—will be led by Yamuna Zake, founder of the Yamuna Body Rolling method. A second itinerary slated for November 2 through 15 will guide travelers through India, Sri Lanka, and Thailand with Garuda Pilates Method founder James D'Silva. Both trips are built almost entirely around wellness, featuring daily yoga sessions, health-conscious cuisine, and fitness classes, as well as such immersive activities at tiger safaris in Rajasthan and meditating at a temple in Borobudur, Indonesia.

"Aman launched Private Jet Journeys to redefine the bounds of travel," says Nicola Roche, Aman's group spa director. "We are constantly looking for new and innovative ways to open up destinations to our guests. The Private Jet Wellness Journeys are a natural progression [for us], combining life-changing travel experiences with wellbeing journeys, designed to restore a sense of peace and invigorate mind, spirit and body."
