Festival to take place from 27th to 30th December

Mumbai, July 20, 2016
: Sunburn; one of the world’s largest dance music festivals has announced that the annual four day mega event will go on as scheduled from the 27th to the 30th December 2016 and that there will no change in the dates since they are synonymous with the festival since inception.

Sunburn has not only considerably contributed to the goa’s economy, but has also put India and particularly Goa on the world map as a mecca for dance music enthusiasts. The festival has also helped provide local employment and boost resident businesses. Sunburn officials are currently in talks with the Goa government and a conclusion on the same is expected soon. While other venue options are being evaluated to give fans a grand experience for Sunburn 10, there wouldn’t be a change in the dates. The festival organizers have urged fans to be patient and have assured the wait will be well worth it.

As a part of the 10th year celebration, Sunburn will give fans a larger than life experience with added incentives including a cashless experience with the tech-equipped Sunburn Smart Band which will allow them to avail entry into the festival zone, purchase F&B and merchandise at the festival without the hassles of credit cards or cash. In addition fans can expect a world class experience with on-site camping options, the fan village, an extensive array of food courts, 40+ experience zones, flea markets, chopper rides, after parties among others.

Martin began his career in the industry at a tender age of 16 and has worked with some of the most celebrated chefs in the world. With over 2 decades of experience in culinary arts, coupled with hands-on operational training, Martin has explored various culinary operations including fine dining, banqueting, outdoor even catering and more

Born and raised in Australia and having recently worked in Seoul, South Korea, Martin’s ease in the kitchen comes naturally. He grew up with “culinary culture” in his blood, studying a 4 year apprenticeship under his brother who is also a chef, and that was enough for him to pursue a career in culinary arts. Having a constant drive to find a new angle, he is always striving for a new inspiration.

Drawing his influence from fresh ingredients complimented by an intriguing array of flavors from around the world, his eclectic yet harmonious cuisine rings a dynamic perspective to classic techniques.

Before bringing his signature “fresh and simple” culinary style to The St. Regis Mumbai, Marty was Executive Chef at The Sheraton Grand Bangalore, as well as Vice President/Public Relations LTB Korea (International Chefs Association). Apart from his role in the kitchen, Marty has also been responsible for organizing special promotions for outlets and implementing food safety and training schedules for Western kitchens, Western Executive Chef at Imperial Palace, Cebu, Philippines where he used to oversee 11 food and beverage outlets.

His other stints include Western Executive Chef at Imperial Palace, Seoul South Korea,Executive Sous Chef at Pan Pacific Perth, Executive Sous Chef at Sheraton Perth Hotel, Executive Chef at O'Reilly's Rainforest Retreat, Lost World Spa & Canungra Valley Vineyards, Executive Sous Chef at Four Points by Sheraton Darling Harbor, Australian Guest Chef Kobe Bay Sheraton Hotel & Towers, Rokko Island, Japan and Senior Sous Chef, Stamford Grand Hotel – Sydney. Mumbai, July 22, 2016: Sands Resorts Cotai Strip Macao hosted a gala dinner in Mumbai on July 19, 2016, to introduce the newest crown in the Resorts’ portfolio – The Parisian Macao which is due to open in mid-September 2016. In addition invited guests were also treated to some highlights of the “Summer of Entertainment” campaign showcasing the upcoming theatrical shows to launch at the integrated resorts over summer, for example Shrek The Musical; Blue Man Group; Po’s Kung Fu Feast, Character Breakfast with DreamWorks All-Stars and Planet J. Sands Resorts Cotai Strip Macao includes six luxury and family-style hotels and resorts including The Venetian Macao; Conrad Macao, Cotai Central; Sheraton Grand Macao Hotel, Cotai Central; Holiday Inn Macao Cotai Central; Four Seasons Hotel Macao, Cotai Strip; and The St. Regis Macao, Cotai Central.
