Bengaluru, June 13, 2017: Shangri-La Hotel, Bengaluru known for its holistic wellness offerings in the city, hosted guests and colleagues as they pledged to take charge of their physical, mental and emotional well-being this Global Wellness Day. An international celebration of health and wellness, Global Wellness Day is observed on the second Saturday of June, when citizens world over rise to the importance of living well.

In honour of the occasion that promotes the philosophy “one day can change your whole life”, the hotel hosted a series of complimentary wellness activities and offerings. Guests were seen participating in intense outdoor cross fit sessions, challenging secret and deck of card exercises and team building games.

A motivational session by renowned fitness expert, Wanitha Ashok inspired everyone to live a healthy and mindful life whilst the juice bars and wholesome food counters kept the participants refreshed and the energy levels pulsating.

Global Wellness Day is an entirely not-for-profit social project dedicated to living well that was first celebrated in 2012.
