New Delhi, September 15, 2017: Beeji De Chole Bhature, a Quick Service Restaurant at Omaxe Gurgaon Mall on Sohna Road, opened shop in June this year and marking successful completion of its first three months the brand has added another new flavour to the existing four types of chole and also introduced two new types of bhature. Conceptualised with the thought of adding a twist to North-India’s favourite food Chole Bhature, Beeji De Chole Bhature hopes to eventually have a flavour for every type of taste bud out there!

While the shop began with offering Classic Chole, Makhni Flavour, sweet and chatpate Mitthe Chatkare, and the ‘Indian-Chinese’ cuisine inspired Chinese Chole; a hot and spicy Chilly Garlic Chole has been added to the menu. The restaurant has also launched 2 new kinds of bhature stuffing – the popular paneer stuffing and the unique achaar stuffing.

Beeji, the brand’s mascot, means Grandma in Punjabi culture, and like every loving grandmother she makes sure that her kids are eating good food. She ensures the restaurant serves bhature that are made only with 50% Maida (flour), and the rest 50% is Atta (whole wheat). Oil is also used to the minimal.

When not cooking delicious food, the team of Beeji De Chole Bhature work on Dasvandh – a movement to provide food to people in need. As per Sikh culture Dasvandh means – Das-Ten Vandh-Distribute – which asks people to give 10% of their harvest/earnings to the ones in need. At Beeji De Chole Bhature, we ask our customers to give an extra 10% of their bill amount towards Dasvandh and we add the same amount from our income. The combined kitty is used every Sunday to distribute fresh food to kids of construction workers with the help of Gurgaon based FreePathshala and the popular Facebook Group Aao Khilayein. In the first three months of operation, Beeji De Chole Bhature has provided over 300 free meals to these children, thanks to the help of their generous customers.
